Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 7, 2026
Avowra is built to need as little of your data as possible. This page explains what that means in practice: what the app collects (almost nothing), what this website collects (basic visit statistics), and how you stay in control either way.
The short version
- No account, no sign-up, no login screen.
- No advertising, no ad SDKs, no analytics trackers inside the app.
- Your affirmations, counts, and history live on your device and in your own private iCloud, never on a server we run.
- Purchases are handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. We never see your payment details.
What the app does with your data
Everything you write in Avowra, your affirmations, targets, counts, streaks, and history, is stored locally on your device. If iCloud is enabled on your device, Apple’s CloudKit syncs that same data privately between your own devices (iPhone, Apple Watch, Mac, Vision Pro) using your Apple ID. This sync happens entirely within Apple’s infrastructure. Avowra has no servers of its own, so there is nowhere else for that data to go.
We do not require an account, do not ask for your name or email, and do not know who you are unless you choose to email us directly.
Analytics on this website
The app itself does not use analytics or tracking SDKs. This marketing website (avowra.app) is a separate thing from the app, and it does use Firebase Analytics (a Google service) to understand basic aggregate traffic: things like page views, approximate device type, and referring site. This is standard website analytics, it is not tied to your Avowra account (there isn’t one) and it does not see anything you write in the app.
Purchases
Avowra is a one-time purchase distributed through Apple’s App Store. Apple processes the transaction and handles your payment information under its own privacy policy; we never receive or store your card details.
Third-party services
The only third-party service involved anywhere in Avowra is:
- Apple iCloud (CloudKit), used to privately sync your data between your own devices. Governed by Apple’s Privacy Policy.
The website additionally uses Firebase Analytics as described above.
Children’s privacy
Avowra is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone in that age group. Since the app doesn’t collect personal information from any user regardless of age, there is nothing additional to disclose here.
Your control over your data
Because your data lives on your own devices and in your own iCloud, you control it directly: delete an affirmation or your history from within the app at any time, or turn off iCloud sync for Avowra in your device’s Settings. Deleting the app removes its data from that device; anything already synced to iCloud is managed through your Apple ID settings.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, we will update the date at the top of this page. Since Avowra doesn’t collect contact information from users, we won’t be able to notify you directly, so please check back if you have concerns.
