Terms of Service

These terms cover your use of Avowra (the “App”), a personal affirmation counter for iPhone, Apple Watch, Mac, and Vision Pro. By downloading or using Avowra, you agree to these terms.

License

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use Avowra on devices you own or control, for your own personal, non-commercial use. Your use of the App is also subject to Apple’s standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement, since Avowra is distributed through the App Store.

Purchases

Avowra is a single, one-time purchase. There is no subscription and no recurring billing. All payments are processed by Apple through the App Store, and are subject to Apple’s own payment, refund, and billing terms. We do not handle refunds directly; refund requests go through Apple.

Your content

The affirmations, targets, and notes you write in Avowra are yours. They are stored on your device and, if you enable it, synced privately through your own iCloud. You are responsible for the content you create, and for keeping your own backups if that matters to you.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the App, except where applicable law permits it.
• Use the App for any unlawful purpose or in a way that could harm, disable, or impair it.
• Redistribute, resell, or sublicense the App outside of the App Store’s own mechanisms.

Not medical or professional advice

Avowra supports a personal practice; it does not promise outcomes. It is a tool for writing and repeating words that matter to you, it is not a medical device, and it is not a substitute for professional medical, psychological, or therapeutic advice. If you’re dealing with a mental health concern, please talk to a qualified professional.

No warranty

Avowra is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including any warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We don’t guarantee the App will be error-free or uninterrupted.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App. Our total liability for any claim related to the App is limited to the amount you paid for it.

Changes

We may update the App and these terms from time to time. Continuing to use Avowra after an update means you accept the current terms. We will update the date at the top of this page when that happens.

Termination

You can stop using Avowra at any time by deleting the App. We may discontinue or modify the App at our discretion, though since it’s a one-time purchase with all data on your own devices, deleting it doesn’t leave anything behind on our end.
